Tom Lake

Tom Lake is an experienced professional in the fields of policy, strategy, and social impact. Currently serving as the Director of Policy & Strategy at Fair4All Finance since February 2019, Tom Lake is focused on enhancing financial inclusion for vulnerable groups through access to fair financial services. Prior to this role, Tom Lake worked as a Policy Advisor in the Government Inclusive Economy Unit at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, where efforts were directed at increasing private investment in social challenges. Tom Lake has also held positions in business development at GoCardless and as a management consultant at Accenture, where significant experience was gained in strategy, innovation, and project management. In addition to consulting, Tom Lake co-founded Prepped, a social enterprise that connected professionals with job seekers for micro-volunteering opportunities. Educationally, Tom Lake holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath and has also studied at Goldsmiths, University of London, and The University of Texas at Austin.
