Ouail Bendidi

Ouail Bendidi has held several positions in the data science and engineering fields. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Data Engineer for FarmWise. Prior to that, they were a Senior Data Engineer at QuickSign from 2020 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Lead Data Scientist, Data Scientist, and Artificial Intelligence Intern at Sterblue. In 2016, they held a Research Intenship at MAScIR - Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science, Innovation and Research, where they developed a Deep Belief Network capable of classifying low resolution and blurred images, tested the neural network with new polluted images generated by an automatic image generator script, and generated accuracy statistics that were used to optimize the network and improve it's performance to about 93% accuracy on heavily polluted images. The technologies used for this project were Python with Numpy, Scipy, Theano, Lasagne and Scikit-learn.

Ouail Bendidi obtained an Engineer's degree from the National Institute of Post and Communication in 2017, having studied Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to this, they completed a Classe préparatoire MP from Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles Med Réda Slaoui in 2014, with a focus on Mathematics.
