Carl Turner

Carl Turner has extensive work experience in both machine learning engineering and theoretical physics. Carl currently works at Featurespace as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, where they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at the same company from April 2022 to November 2022. Before joining Featurespace, Carl worked as a Research Engineer from August 2021 to April 2022.

In addition to their work in machine learning, Carl has also worked as a Research Fellow at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, specializing in theoretical physics and quantum field theory. Carl held this position from October 2017 to August 2021.

Furthermore, Carl has experience in teaching mathematics and conducting interviews as a Supervisor and Interviewer at the University of Cambridge. Carl held this role from October 2013 to June 2021.

Carl Turner completed their education at the University of Cambridge. From 2009 to 2013, they earned a degree in Mathematics (BA/MMath), with a focus on Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Carl then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from 2013 to 2017.
