Nadia Gaines

Nadia Gaines, M.Ed has a diverse work experience. Nadia currently works as an Academic Success Coach at FEV Tutor since November 2022. Prior to that, they were a First Grade Teacher at IDEA Public Schools from June 2021 to November 2022, where they taught social emotional learning, ELA, and math. Nadia was recognized as the Teacher of the Year at IDEA Southeast Academy in 2021. Before that, they also worked as a First Grade Teacher at KIPP Texas Public Schools - DFW from July 2019 to July 2021. In 2019, they were a Corps Member at Teach For America. Additionally, Nadia worked as a Student Fundraiser at Ruffalo Noel Levitz from January 2018 to July 2019, where they raised funds for need-based university scholarships and became a supervisor after four months. Nadia also worked as an AppleCare College Advisor at Apple from August 2016 to January 2017.

Nadia Gaines, M.Ed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Economics from The University of Georgia, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Education degree at Southern Methodist University from 2019 to 2021. Nadia furthered their professional development by earning additional certifications, including a Resume Makeover certification from LinkedIn in June 2022, a Core Subjects EC-6 certification from the Texas Education Agency in May 2020, and an English as a Second Language Supplemental certification, also from the Texas Education Agency, in May 2020.
