Tanja Peltoniemi has over 20 years of experience in various roles within HR, marketing, and management. Tanja started their career in 1998 as a Department Manager at H&M before progressing to roles such as Business Unit Demand Manager at Duni AB and Category Marketing Manager at THP Vietnam. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Transmeri as a Brand Manager and Business Manager, where they successfully led market leader brands and served as a member of the Board of Directors. Later, they joined Unilever as a Nordic Brand Manager, responsible for brand building, marketing, new concept creation, events, and communication plans. In their role at Paloma Communications, Tanja served as a Strategy Director, leading communication and marketing strategies for market leader brands. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as the Managing Director of SyysViiru, HoviKoti in Finland. Tanja also has experience in HR and marketing management, having served as an HR & Marketing Manager and HR Manager at Fidelix. Tanja'sresponsibilities at Fidelix included developing HR functions, strategies, processes, and reporting systems, as well as creating and implementing the employer brand, communication strategy, and organizational culture. Tanja also provided support to team leaders, handled personnel matters, developed employee salary systems and contracts, and managed legal and union issues. Throughout their career, Tanja has demonstrated a strong track record of achieving targets and successfully implementing strategies. Tanja has also served as a member of the Board of Directors in multiple companies.
Tanja Peltoniemi has a diverse education history. From 1995 to 2005, they attended the University of Tampere 1925-2018, where they earned a Master's Degree in Social Policy with a focus on Social Pedagogy and Education. In 2013, they enrolled in Varia and completed a Practical Nurse program, specializing in Practical Nursing, Vocational Nursing, and Nursing Assistants. Most recently, in 2021, Tanja attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development for a course in Executive HR, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
In addition to their formal education, Tanja has obtained several additional certifications in various areas. In October 2021, they completed an Ability test in Logiks General and Logiks Advanced through Cubiks, a PSI Business. Tanja also obtained certification in Etray through the same institution. Furthermore, they hold certifications in PAPI™ 3 (Personality and Preference Inventory) and PAPI™ 3 Sales & Leadership specific versions, also obtained in October 2021 through Cubiks.
