Lynn Ooten

Lynn Ooten has a diverse work experience in instructional design and corporate learning and development. Lynn started their career as an Education Coordinator at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in 2011, where they managed the eLearning system and transformed static PowerPoint presentations into interactive courses. In 2013, they became a Benefits Coordinator at Meridian Health Services, where they administered benefits for over 850 employees and revamped the benefits portion of new employee orientation.

In 2015, Lynn joined Avant Healthcare as a Corporate Learning and Development and Compliance Coordinator, responsible for coordinating corporate learning and development activities, developing e-learning content, managing the e-learning system, and assisting with corporate compliance issues. Lynn later became the Corporate Learning and Development Specialist, where they developed and delivered the corporate onboarding program, configured and maintained the LMS, and designed e-learning, classroom, flipped classroom, and blended learning.

In 2018, Lynn joined Genesys as an Instructional Designer, focusing on designing instructional materials. Lynn worked there until 2020 when they joined Finvi as an Instructional Designer. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Manager, Product Training & Enablement.

Lynn Ooten earned a high school diploma from Muncie Burris High School in 1990. Lynn then went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Ball State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Later, Lynn pursued a master's degree in Adult Learning - Training & Performance Improvement from Walden University from 2013 to 2015.
