Position Summary
Firmo Construction is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support our national growth and manage the marketing and communications efforts for our family of companies, including Artefirm and Firmexpro. Reporting to the organization’s Executives, this role is crucial in crafting and executing impactful marketing campaigns, managing communications, and boosting brand awareness.
We are looking for a professional with a passion for storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing. As a key member of our team, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator will collaboratively produce high-quality marketing materials, develop strategic campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. This role also involves event planning and management and representing Firmo Construction at conferences and industry events.
The ideal candidate will bring fresh, innovative ideas and have the flexibility to travel to project sites throughout the Southeast, as well as to conferences, tradeshows, and networking events nationwide. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
This role will be instrumental in advancing our mission by developing and executing marketing strategies, managing our communications channels, and increasing public awareness and engagement
Analyze marketing data, track industry trends, and work with sales team to inform strategy and generate leads.
Provide regular analytics reports to executive leadership.
Coordinate and manage company events, trade shows, conferences, and other special events.
Build brand awareness through industry engagement, earned and paid channels.
Maintain and grow the organization’s social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
Maintain relationships with media contacts. Pitch stories, draft press releases, and monitor media coverage.
Develop copy for newsletters, blogs, email marketing, case studies, articles, etc.
Develop content using Adobe, Canva, Photoshop, etc.
Print branded materials including project signage, swag, booklets, etc.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
Ensure website content is up-to-date, accurate, engaging, and optimizes SEO.
Strategize the use of third-party vendors and consultants, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and budget.
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all expenditures are aligned with organizational goals and financial policies.
Contribute to the organization’s overall success by researching and recommending new opportunities, approaches, and strategies.
Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent editing and proofreading abilities.
Keen eye for design, with the ability to create visually appealing and cohesive marketing materials.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, content management systems, and basic graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Strong sense of initiative, creative problem-solving abilities, and flexibility.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and independently.
Strong follow-through skills to ensure successful execution of initiatives with attentiveness to detail.
Comfortable and professional in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, from internal team members to external business professionals.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience in a marketing, P/R, or related position.
2+ years' experience with B2B marketing.
Experience in website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Tech savvy and adept at learning new tools.
Proficient in software such as Canva, Photoshop, Adobe, WordPress, etc.
Ability to travel as needed, typically throughout the Southeast, and elsewhere for industry events (frequency varies).
Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends if needed for industry events and/or media opportunities.
Working Environment & Conditions
Typically, in office Monday-Friday, unless off-site for company-related events or tasks including but not limited to visiting construction sites, tradeshows, networking, and other events as needed.
Much of the work is performed while sitting, but also standing and walking. Occasionally exerting between 20-60 lbs. of force to lift or move objects.
