Firmo is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced with Ground-Up Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team!
About the Opportunity
An integral member of our Construction team, this individual will be charged with managing active jobsites on ground-up commercial projects from start to finish, delivering a high-quality finished product for our clients. Key functions of this position include overseeing trade partners, ensuring compliance and safety, working closely with project management stakeholders, and keeping projects on schedule and budget.

Be a self-motivated problem solver, knowledgeable in multiple areas of commercial construction,
Be an experienced Leader and Team Player,
Have experience on ground-up projects, including Hospitality,
Feel comfortable in a fast paced setting,
Proficient with construction management software, able to learn new software,
Value integrity, professionalism, quality workmanship, and positive teamwork,
Excel at adhering to deadlines, maintaining a clean jobsite, motivating subcontractors, and communicating with project stakeholders.
Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Oversee daily activity on Firmo’s job sites.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all construction project documents.
Work closely with Project Management from pre-construction through closeout to successfully manage project schedule and budget.
Coordinate, monitor, and inspect all Subcontractors and Suppliers activity.
Complete and upload jobsite log, progress photos, and activity reports to construction management software.
Ensure all subcontractors on site are working from current and complete documents.
Attend and Lead weekly jobsite meetings and toolbox talks.
Enforce safety regulations at all times.
Manage building inspections.
Issue and oversee successful completion of punch list items.
Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies.
Seek out opportunities, training or otherwise, to enhance work performance.
Exercise absolute caution and professionalism while on job-sites at all time.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years experience in Commercial Construction
Experience on Ground-Up Builds, especially Hospitality.
Proficient with (and easily learn new) construction management software
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, project documents and specifications
CPR and OSHA 30 certification (or take class upon being hired)
Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Solid professional references.
