Sergio Tijerino

Sergio Tijerino's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2020, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at First Factory until July 2021. From July 2021 to January 2022, they served as a Software Developer. In January 2022, they were promoted to the position of Software Engineer, responsible for improving and creating financial reports using Google Sheets API and Python. Later, in 2023, they became a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of an Observability Application using Python, AWS, GraphQL, VueJS, and other technologies. At Midware, they worked as an ERP Developer from March 2019 to August 2019.

Sergio Tijerino obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they have received several certifications, including PCEP - Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer from the Python Institute in February 2023, and various Python-related certifications from LinkedIn and HackerRank in September 2021. Sergio also has certifications in areas such as serverless and microservices for AWS, Django, SQL, Unity 2D development, C# & .NET programming, virtual reality, and secure software development, obtained between November and December 2020, as well as March 2021.
