Richard Rives Bird

Richard Rives Bird serves as President of Rives Consult, providing executive management and consulting for small and startup life science companies since May 2014. In addition, Richard holds several mentoring and advisory roles, including Senior Mentor at Winston Starts and Navigator at First Flight Venture Center, while advising New Day Ventures on investment strategies for early and mid-stage life science companies. Richard's past positions include CEO of Voxello, where leadership contributed to the growth in the assistive technology market, and Chairman and CEO of Rives Audio, Inc., which transformed acoustical engineering services. Richard holds a BA in Physics from Wake Forest University and has completed a graduate program in Physics at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
