Bernhardt Alama

Bernhardt Alama has an extensive background in banking and financial services, with over three decades of experience in various management roles. Currently serving as the Treasury Management Service and Support Operations Manager at First Hawaiian Bank since January 2018, Bernhardt oversees a range of treasury management services including ACH, commercial online banking, and lockbox operations. Prior to this role, Bernhardt was the Cash Management Services Product Management Team Leader at Bank of Hawaii, where responsibilities included managing multiple cash management products and services. Earlier positions included Electronic Banking Manager roles at both First Hawaiian Bank and First Interstate Bank of Hawaii, as well as a Retail Lockbox Manager at Seafirst Bank. Bernhardt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Oceanography from the University of Washington and completed education at Kamehameha Schools.
