Catherine Turner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Indigenous health and community engagement. Currently serving as a Coach at Healthcare Excellence Canada and a Senior Research Coordinator at the First Nations Health Authority since 2017, Catherine has also held the position of Indigenous Liaison Manager at the Can-SOLVE CKD Network since 2016. Previous roles include Aboriginal Liaison at the Kidney Foundation of Canada - BC Branch, where Catherine enhanced community awareness of kidney disease, and Project Coordinator at the Mikisiw Metis Association, focusing on holistic health projects. Catherine's leadership experience includes serving as Chairperson and Past Chairperson for the National Aboriginal Diabetes Association. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from The University of British Columbia and various certifications in leadership and trauma-informed coaching.
