Jeremy Groom

Mr. Groom was named Executive Vice-President of Compliance and Risk Management in December 2020. His primary responsibilities are to oversee the bank's compliance programs, audits, and examinations. He joined First Reliance Bank in April 2001 as a credit analyst and soon thereafter spent several years as a business banker. Groom transitioned to oversee compliance and audits in 2008.

Groom graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, (CRCM) and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and the South Carolina Bankers School at the University of South Carolina.
