Charlie Horton

Charlie Horton is currently the Company Secretary/HR Administrator (6hrs p/w) at First Rung. Prior to this, they were with First Rung Ltd as the Company Secretary & HR Administrator from March 2021 to April 2022. Charlie has also worked with the Care Quality Commission as the Executive Assistant in August 2014, providing holiday cover to Michael Mire. Charlie Horton has also been with Trinity Mirror as the Executive Assistant from July 2003 to August 2005 where they supported two Directors. Furthermore, they have also worked as an Executive Assistant at McKinsey & Company from August 1999 to June 2003. Throughout their career, Charlie Horton has gained extensive experience in diary management, call handling, travel arrangements, liaising with contacts, producing Powerpoint presentations, handling the day to day running of the office, transcription, document production, filing, and fielding calls and queries from senior managers.

Charlie Horton has a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from the University of Birmingham.

Charlie Horton reports to Steve Woolcock, CEO. They work with Druvi Attygalle - Finance & Performance Manager, Beverley Woodhouse - Learner Recruitment & Marketing Coordinator, and Francesca Muratori - Head of Centres & Inclusion.
