Cheryl Chavez

Cheryl Chávez is a seasoned product management executive with extensive experience in leading and scaling product organizations across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer at Firstup since December 2022, Cheryl has previously held similar roles at Bloomreach and Duetto, where significant improvements in product management processes, organizational scaling, and talent acquisition were achieved. Cheryl's experience also includes advising startup founders as a Fellow at Sapphire Ventures and a leadership position at Engagio, contributing to B2B marketing strategies. With a strong background in product management since 1999 across organizations such as Marketo and VeriSign, Cheryl holds a BS in Biological Anthropology and Pre-Med from UCLA and is pursuing a certificate in Finance and Accounting for the Non-Financial Executive from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
