Kara Goodloe Harling

Kara Goodloe Harling, CPA, currently serves as a Board Member at LandBridge and holds the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Five Point Energy since February 2024. Prior to these roles, Kara was the Chief Operating Officer at Mountain Capital Management, LLC from January 2016 to February 2024, and served as Corporate Controller at Ascent Resources from August 2015 to January 2016. Earlier in their career, Kara was the Chief Accounting Officer for Appalachia and Controller for Acquisitions and Divestitures at American Energy Partners, LP from August 2014 to August 2015. Kara began their professional journey at EY, where a partnership role included specialized experience in the oil and gas sector, followed by auditing work at Arthur Andersen. Kara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
