Puneet Dokania has a diverse work experience. Puneet began their professional career in 2007 as an Internship at Indian Institute of Science. In 2008, they worked as a Research Student at Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, where they worked on de-noising of NDVI time series data and on the GLAS data provided by NASA for forest height estimation. In 2009, they worked as a Research Trainee at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In 2011, they worked as part of the eMotion Team at INRIA. In 2012, they were a PhD Student at INRIA and CentraleSupelec. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Senior Researcher and Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Oxford. Most recently, they have been a Principal Research Scientist at Five AI since 2020.
Puneet Dokania completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering from 2005 to 2009. After that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Informatics from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble from 2011 to 2012. Puneet then earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from CentraleSupélec from 2012 to 2016. Puneet is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Machine Learning from CentraleSupélec.
