Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in developing cloud-based solutions for contact centers. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Five9 since November 2019, Amit focuses on building omnichannel solutions that empower agents across various platforms. Prior to this, Amit held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Talkdesk, where efforts were directed towards creating modern, secure cloud products that enhance user experience. Throughout a substantial tenure at Verint Systems from June 2005 to January 2019, Amit progressed through various roles, including Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, leading agile teams and driving continuous innovation. Early career experience includes roles at iflex solutions Ltd, complemented by a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
