In 2020, Manos Koukouvios pursued a Master's degree in Shipping at the University of Plymouth, which lasted until 2021. Manos obtained their Maritime Cybersecurity Awareness for Seafarers certification from The Nautical Institute in June 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Elliniko Anoikto Panepistimio, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2025. Manos Koukouvios also has various certifications related to the maritime industry, including LNG shipboard training and commercial aspects of LNG operations, from institutions such as Maran Gas Maritime Inc. and DNV GL.
