Breny Garcia, Ed.D., serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Health and Wellness at Florida International University since July 2006, with responsibilities that include leadership in the Dean of Students areas, Counseling & Psychological Services, Healthy Living, Victim Empowerment Program, and Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution. Previous roles at the university encompass positions such as Associate Vice President and Assistant Vice President for Institutional Relations, where Breny Garcia led various initiatives involving key university donors and community partners. Additionally, Breny Garcia has held multiple administrative roles within the Office of the President, including Deputy Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant, overseeing daily operations and strategic planning. Beyond university work, Breny Garcia has contributed to Phi Sigma Sigma, Inc. as the Director of the Supreme Council and served as a Chapter Key Advisor earlier in the career. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Higher Education, a Master's in Higher Education Administration, and a Bachelor's in Political Science, all obtained from Florida International University.
