Joel Erickson

Joel Erickson has over 20 years of work experience. Joel began their career in 2000 as a Military Police Officer and Ammo Specialist/ Recon SGT/ Platoon Sgt Driver/ Section Chief/ Assistant Section Chief for the United States Army Reserves. In 2005, they became a Senior Sales Representative and Retail Sales Representative for Verizon Wireless. Joel was promoted to Business Sales Consultant and Assistant Store Manager/Retail Kiosk Supervisor in 2007. In 2013, they took on the role of Junior System Administrator for Syber Inc. and Government Sales Specialist for TSRC, Inc./dba Frank Parsons Co. In 2015, they became the Government Sales Manager Deputy Program Manager CIO-CS | SEWP V for JunoVenture, LLC / PCPC DIRECT. In 2017, they were appointed as Sr. FED|SLED Accounts Manager for IOvations. In 2019, they were hired as a DOD Account Manager for Copper River Information Technology. In 2020, they became a Civilian Account Manager for Iron Bow Technologies. Most recently, in 2021, they were hired as a DOD Account Manager for Flywheel Data.

Joel Erickson attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Assurance and Cyber Security. Prior to that, they attended Anne Arundel Community College from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Information Assurance and Cyber Security & Cyber Forensics, with a focus in Cyber Security, Network Administration and Advanced Network Defense.
