İlayda Özcan has a work experience that includes various roles in the field of IT security and compliance. In 2022, they worked as an IT Security Risk and Compliance Specialist at Forcerta. Prior to that, they worked at Anadolubank as an Assistant IT Auditor from May 2022 to December 2022. In 2021, İlayda Özcan worked as an Information Security Intern at Koç Üniversitesi.

İlayda Özcan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Yeditepe University, graduating in 2022. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System from Proks Belgelendirme Ltd. in May 2023, Foundational Sales Certification and Foundational Technical Certification from SecurityScorecard in December 2022, ISO 27001:2013 ISMS Lead Auditor from Proks Belgelendirme Ltd. in September 2022, and various other certifications related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, risk analysis, technology law, and fraud awareness from Türkiye Bankalar Birliği Eğitim Merkezi. İlayda also attended the LC Waikiki Academy Technology and Digitalization Introduction Program in March 2022 and the 2nd Digital Tech Career Summit in May 2021. Additionally, they participated in the Yeditepe Entrepreneurship Summit '21 organized by YEDİTEPE LİDERLİK VE GİRİŞİMCİLİK KULÜBÜ and the 6th Management Information Systems Summit organized by T.C. YEDİTEPE ÜNİVERSİTESİ in July 2020.
