Katie Ritter, Ed.D. has a wealth of experience in both educational and administrative roles. Katie began their career in 2008 as a Freshman Cheerleading Coach at Anderson High School. In 2010, they served as a Student Teacher at McNicholas High School and as an Alternative School Assistant at Forest Hills Local School District. In 2011, they were a Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Anderson High School, a Senior Administrative Assistant and Continuing Education Assistant at Northern Kentucky University, and a Director of Educational Technology at Archbishop McNicholas High School. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Classroom Technology and Web Presence Specialist at Middletown City Schools. In 2016, they became an Adjunct Instructor at Ashland University and, in 2015, a Chief Learning Officer and Director of Curriculum and Technology Integration at Forward Edge.
Katie Ritter, Ed.D. began their educational journey at Anderson High School, graduating in 2006. Katie then attended Northern Kentucky University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Secondary Education in 2010. In 2012, they obtained a Master of Arts in Education in Instructional Computer Technology from the same institution. In 2019, they earned their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt Peabody College. Additionally, Katie holds certifications from Google, including Google for Education Certified Coach (2020), Google Certified Innovator (2016), Google Education Trainer (2014), Google Educator (2014), and a State of Ohio Department of Education Teaching License in Integrated Social Studies License grades 7-12 (2014).
