Brett Balicki

Brett Balicki has a diverse work history, beginning with their current role as a Digital Content Producer at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. Brett also holds positions in the company as a News Producer and previously worked as a Local Sales Assistant.

Prior to joining Nexstar, Brett gained experience at Social Jack, where they started as a Social Media Intern and worked their way up to become a Social Media Analyst and Content Writer. Brett also worked as a Social Media Analyst and Content Writer at Forward Progress, Inc., where they provided integrated services in influencer marketing and social business.

Additionally, Brett has experience in political party staff roles, having worked as a Political Party Staff for Senator Joe O'Reilly at Houses of the Oireachtas. Brett also gained experience as a Driver Runner at UPS and as a Busser and Dishwasher at 95ate5. Brett started their career as a Poll Clerk at the Lake County Board of Elections.

Brett Balicki completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from DePaul University, from the year 2016 to 2020. Prior to this, they graduated with Academic Honors from Lake Central High School, where they focused on Communication and Media Studies, from 2012 to 2016.
