Toufieka Fortune

Toufieka Fortune is a Learning Experience Designer at FourthRev. Prior to their current position, they were a Project Manager at Hubble Studios from April 2018 to March 2020. Toufieka is responsible for ensuring that project objectives in the entire production office are met, by supporting the team in planning, implementing and monitoring project deliverables. This is coupled with a lot of client facing responsibilities, proposal building, budget formulations, client meetings, and sign-offs of various project documents/contracts.

Furthermore, their responsibilities include, but are not limited to leading the project management function to achieve better quality, efficiency and oversight of projects across the business, improving the approach to the full life cycle of projects including; project planning, initiation, resourcing and execution to monitoring, control and completion, acting as a strategic advisor to the leadership team to ensure the alignment of multiple teams can accomplish project deliverables, identifying issues and risks in a timely manner and develop/implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans, lastly involves reporting on the status of projects, including the payment of projects invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Toufieka Fortune pursued a Masters in Sociology from Stellenbosch University. Prior to that, they completed a BA Honours in Sociology from the same university. Toufieka also has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Dynamics from Stellenbosch University, where they studied Sociology and Anthropology as well as Psychology. Furthermore, they have a Grande Diploma in good food, fine wine and hospitality management from The Hurst Campus (The Culinary Academy). Toufieka is also certified from the Golden Key International Honour Society.

Toufieka Fortune reports to Lisa Visagie, Senior Learning Experience Designer. They are on a team with Anthony Hodge - Learning Experience Designer, Monika Shukla - Learning Experience Designer, and Tamsyn Qually - Learning Experience Designer.
