Wes McClelland

Wes McClelland is a seasoned professional in government relations and strategic communications, currently serving as a Partner at Franklin Square Group since January 2022. With extensive experience in legislative and regulatory strategy, Wes co-owns Flying R Farms and previously held the position of Principal at Milfred Clyde Consulting until January 2022. Wes's notable prior roles include Vice President of Federal Affairs at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association and Senior Policy Advisor to Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy in the U.S. House of Representatives. Wes's legislative expertise extends back to advising on a wide range of national issues and managing policy development for both committees and senior members of Congress. Wes holds a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and a Master of Arts in Economics from The University of Kansas.
