Angela Shackford

Angela Shackford has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Angela started their career as a Billing/Receiving Clerk at DSL in 2000 before moving on to Commodity Logistics West Inc (CLWI) as a Traffic Coordinator. At CLWI, they supervised trailer rotations, tracked yard moves, processed reports, and worked closely with carriers. Angela then joined American Port Services as an Inbound Traffic Lead, where they wrote SOPs, implemented new procedures, and sent weekly reports. After this, Angela worked at Freight Management, first as an Account Manager, where they managed daily activities, oversaw funds, generated reports, and maintained compliance. Angela was later promoted to Customer Service Manager, where they helped design an online TMS system, managed account managers and the claims department, assisted clients with data and problem-solving, and maintained relationships with accounts and carriers. Lastly, Angela held the role of Vice President of Accounts at Freight Management, where they had oversight of accounts and escalated problems or issues to upper management.
