Brandon McCoy

Brandon McCoy is an experienced educator with a strong background in various teaching roles. Currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher and District Content Leader at Friendship Public Charter School since July 2019, Brandon previously worked as a Reading Specialist at Roc Achieve Charter School from August 2017 to June 2019. Prior to that, Brandon was a Special Education Teacher at Rochester Career Mentoring Charter School from November 2013 to June 2017, where responsibilities included collaborating on IEPs and developing project-based learning units. Additionally, Brandon has experience as a Summer Camp Supervisor at Perinton Recreation and Parks, overseeing activities for over 65 campers. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from St. John Fisher University and a Master's degree in Literacy Education from SUNY Brockport.
