Edward Osakwe

Edward Osakwe has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Edward is currently serving as the Head of Value Chain Management at FSDH Merchant Bank since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Access Bank Plc as a Channel Manager for Mobile & Internet Banking from February 2019 onward.

Before joining Access Bank, Edward was associated with Diamond Bank Plc for a significant period. During their tenure, they held various roles, including Head of Corporate Engagement & Collections in the Transaction & Electronic Banking division starting from August 2017. Edward also served as the Team Lead for Value Chain Marketing, where they played a vital role in formulating business strategies and expanding the bank's market share. Additionally, Edward served as a Product Manager for Cash Management, responsible for implementing the bank's "Cashless" initiative and driving awareness. Edward successfully grew the bank's International Money Transfer scheme and collections products, significantly improving the bank's market position.

Edward's professional journey began at Standard Chartered Bank, where they worked as a Business Service Officer, handling general administrative tasks and trade document review.
