Kristi Wong's work experience begins with their current position as a Research and Development Scientist at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, which they started in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Laboratory Engineer at Construction Testing Services from May 2019 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for testing materials from job sites and determining their quality. Kristi gained hands-on experience in the laboratory and worked closely with engineers at job sites. Before that, Kristi worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Lincoln High School from January 2019 to May 2019, helping students with their math skills. Kristi also served as an Office Aide at the University of the Pacific from December 2017 to December 2018.
Kristi Wong's education history begins in 2016 when they enrolled in the University of the Pacific. Over the course of their undergraduate program, they studied biomechanical engineering and bioengineering and biomedical engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both fields in 2020. In 2023, Kristi will complete their Master of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.
In addition to their formal education, Kristi has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they completed the Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research Course, CITI Health Information Privacy and Security (HIPS) for Clinical Investigators, GCP, and Group 1.Biomedical Research Faculty, Staff, and Students courses offered by CITI Program, A Division of BRANY. In June 2022, they obtained a certification in Cell Culture Media Application from FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific.
