Marija Duric Speare

Marija Duric Speare is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in music and publishing. Currently serving as the Managing Editor for the Music & Letters journal at Oxford University Press since May 2024, Marija previously held roles as a freelance sub-editor for notable publications including Gramophone and The Strad magazine. With a background in proofing and copy editing, Marija has contributed to various magazines such as Radio Times, children's titles at Immediate Media, and the Béla Bartók Complete Critical Edition at G. Henle Verlag. Marija holds an MMus in Historical Musicology from King's College London and a BA (Hons) in Music from Colchester Institute of Higher Education.
