Shariq Ahmed

Shariq Ahmed is a highly skilled scientific researcher with extensive experience in the fields of molecular biology and clinical laboratory science. Currently employed at G42 Healthcare since February 2022, Shariq has previously held significant positions at the National Institute of Blood Disease & Bone Marrow Transplantation (NIBD) from 2011 to 2022, culminating as a Genome Lab Supervisor. Expertise includes next-generation sequencing for various malignancies and inherited disorders, high-resolution HLA tissue typing, and prenatal diagnosis. Prior experience also encompasses blood banking techniques and medical technology at Husaini Blood Bank and Oncology Trust. Shariq holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Karachi University.
