Amy Altshul serves as General Counsel and Senior Vice President at GSK, overseeing research and development, global commercial strategy, business and corporate development, and corporate legal matters since March 2010. Amy's extensive experience includes roles such as Vice President of Legal for Global Oncology and Vaccines, as well as leadership in compliance for GSK's Rare Disease and Cell & Gene Therapies divisions. In addition to GSK, Amy holds a position on the Board of Directors at Galvani Bioelectronics and was appointed as the GSK Director for the GSK-Verily joint venture. Prior to GSK, Amy served as Senior Licensing Counsel at Pfizer and as a Senior Associate at the law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, gaining substantial expertise in corporate transactions and intellectual property law. Amy holds a Doctor of Law degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Duke University.
