Marco Barrozo

Marco Barrozo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Marco is currently an Investment Professional at Garda Capital Partners since November 2019. Before that, they were the Founder of Cambridge Square Capital from October 2015 to November 2019, where they also held the role of Founder in a prior period from September 2016 to September 2016. Prior to that, Marco worked at Harvard Management Company as a Managing Director - Portfolio Manager from June 2007 to October 2015. Marco started their career at UBS Investment Bank as the Trader - Head of European Rates Volatility Desk from July 2003 to June 2007. Marco also gained experience at Goldman Sachs, where they worked as a Trader - Exotics and Swaps Trading Desk from January 2000 to June 2003.

Marco Barrozo completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics at Universidade Federal Fluminense from 1990 to 1995. Following that, they pursued further studies at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Part-III Math/Physics degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from 1995 to 1996. Marco then continued their education at the University of Cambridge and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, which they completed from 1995 to 1999.
