Samuel Mormando has a diverse work experience. Samuel started their career in 1997 as an Adjunct Professor and Coach at Williamson College of the Trades. Samuel then worked as a Counselor and Coach at The Glen Mills Schools from 1998 to 2003. In 2004, they joined Penn Wood High School as an Instructional Coach, Teacher, and Coach until 2014. From 2014, they served as the Director of Technology, Innovation, and Online Learning at Garnet Valley School District. In 2018, Samuel co-founded Edvative Learning. Most recently, in 2022, they became a CITES Virtual Learning Advisory Board Member at Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES).
Samuel Mormando holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership from Widener University, which they completed from 2016 to 2022. Prior to their doctoral studies, they earned a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the same institution, studying from 1995 to 1997. Samuel's academic journey started with a Bachelor's Degree in History from Widener University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they have a PA Teaching Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
