Joe Monahan

Joe Monahan has a diverse work experience spanning across several industries. Joe is currently serving as the VP Sales and Marketing at Gear Up Sports, Inc., where they have been since October 2018. Additionally, they hold a position as a Board Member at Rumpl since September 2018.

In 2018, Mr. Monahan also worked as an Investor at Oregon Venture Fund. Prior to that, they founded their own consulting company, Monahan Consulting, LLC, where they served as the Principal since March 2017.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Mr. Monahan gained extensive experience in the corporate world. Joe held the position of Senior Vice President Sales at Carhartt from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Nike for over two decades in various managerial and executive roles. This includes serving as VP/GM of Nike SPARQ from 2012 to 2014, VP/GM of Nike Livestrong from 2010 to 2012, VP of North American Sales from 2007 to 2010, and GM of Global Team Sports Equipment from 2005 to 2007, among others.

Before joining Nike, Mr. Monahan began their career at Moss Adams LLP as a CPA, where they worked from 1990 to 1996.

Joe Monahan has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Oregon, although it is currently inactive.
