Leonidas Pitsoulis

Leonidas Pitsoulis has extensive experience in the field of AI and data science. Leonidas most recently worked as an AI Consultant at Tribe AI starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they held the positions of Head of AI & Data Science at Geekbot from December 2018, and Head of Data Science at Forky from August 2015 to August 2017. Leonidas also served as a Data Scientist at Welcome Pickups from January 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, they have a strong academic background and worked as a Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Adjunct Professor at Hellenic Open University from 2004 to 2021 and 2004 to present, respectively. Leonidas also held the role of Head of AI & Data Science at Digital Ecosystems from January 2014 to January 2016.

Leonidas Pitsoulis has a strong education history in optimization algorithms. In 1994, they received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Florida, specializing in Optimization Algorithms. Prior to that, in 1992, they earned their Master's Degree from the same institution in the same field. Later, in 1998, they pursued further studies as a Postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University. From 2001 to 2003, Pitsoulis worked as a Research Fellow at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
