Jan Spaeth

Jan Spaeth has an extensive work experience history, starting as a Project Management Intern at Porsche AG in 2002. Jan then moved on to the PRETTL group for Project Management in 2003. At BASF, Jan worked as a Manager of Strategic Projects before becoming a Global Lead Buyer and Global Procurement Manager. Jan joined MVV Energie AG as a Strategic Asset Manager and later transitioned to GELITA, where they held various roles such as Head of Purchasing in New Zealand, Global Category Manager for Energy/Chemicals/Packaging, and Head of Global Product Group Management. Jan gained experience in portfolio management, pricing, and by-product sales on a global scale during their time at GELITA.

Jan Spaeth completed a Dipl. Ing. (FH) Wirt.-Ing. in Industrial Engineering at Pforzheim University in 2006. Jan then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Steinbeis School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) in 2008. In 2007, Jan participated in postgraduate study at Tsinghua University as part of their MBA program. Additionally, in 2005, they studied Economics at the University of Westminster.
