Vittal Shivva

Vittal Shivva is a seasoned professional in cancer immunotherapy, currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist and Therapeutic Area Lead at Genentech since March 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist at Genentech. Vittal's earlier career featured a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the FDA from November 2015 to March 2017, alongside a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics from the University of Otago, where research focused on pharmacometrics and population pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics. Additional experience includes a summer internship at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, a scientist position at Aurigene Discovery Technologies, and an associate scientist role at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where expertise in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics was developed.
