Francesca Monti

Francesca joined Generali in 2014, taking part to the Group strategic projects launched within Operations and Digital area, with strong focus on operational excellence and the establishment of a simpler and smarter operating platform to modernize and upgrade processes and technologies.

In 2017 she has been appointed as Head of Strategic Planning for Generali Foundation with the responsibility to coordinate and implement relevant initiatives and create a group-wide data strategy to measure the impact generated by projects of 50+ NGOs partners.

She held this position until 2021, when she has been appointed as Head of Insurance and Investment Office.

Prior to Generali, Francesca has worked for Bain & Company in Italy and Germany, supporting international clients, across different industries, to develop new strategies and business plans, assessing M&A opportunities and shaping new organizational structures.

Francesca holds a Master Degree cum Laude followed by a PhD in Pure Mathematics from the university of Milan.

In 2020, she has been awarded with a scholarship for Exceptional Women by the Saïd Business School of Oxford where she obtained an Executive Diploma in Strategy & Innovation with distinction.
