Kristen Downs is a seasoned professional in scientific and value communications with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director at Genesis Research Group since March 2022, Kristen has previously held senior roles at GlaxoSmithKline, where responsibilities included leading plain language summaries and health outcomes strategies. As an independent consultant from 2018 to 2022, Kristen provided expertise in technical consulting and clinical writing. Additional experience includes ownership of Relevant Health Outcomes, Inc. and various positions in health economics and outcomes research. Kristen holds multiple degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, including an MSPH in Health Policy and a BSBA in business administration.
