Art Gillespie is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leading technical teams and projects within the autonomous vehicle and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Odyssey since November 2023, Gillespie previously held several senior engineering management positions at Cruise, overseeing autonomous vehicle platforms and remote assistance solutions. At Voyage, Gillespie led the development of a teleoperations solution that enabled low-latency video streaming for remote vehicle control. Gillespie has also held leadership roles at trainify.io, Udacity, Google, and Nest Labs, where expertise in product development and team growth has been demonstrated. With a solid educational foundation from Belmont University and Murray State University, Gillespie's focus has consistently remained on tackling challenging technical problems while emphasizing product-centric development.
