Dave Dorrell

Dave Dorrell serves as the General Manager and Artistic Director at The Georgia Renaissance Festival since September 2013, overseeing the festival's aesthetic, hiring stage entertainers, and training the core acting company, in addition to marketing efforts. Previous experience includes a role as Graphic Designer at the Center for Puppetry Arts for a brief period in 2013 and extensive involvement with the Georgia Renaissance Festival from 1999 to 2013 as a Designer and Actor. Dorrell also held the position of Managing Director at Newnan Theatre Company from 2011 to 2013 and served as Creative Director at both Yokogawa Corporation of America (1997-2004) and Consumers Energy (1981-1997), showcasing a strong background in the arts and creative direction.
