Dan Couillard

Dan Couillard has a diverse work experience in various industries. Dan started their career at Brite-O-Matic as a Design Engineer, where they designed automatic car wash systems and created manuals for production. Dan then moved to Indie Energy and worked their way up to VP of Construction, where they improved the average gross profit margin of geothermal construction jobs. Afterwards, they joined GI Energy as VP of Geothermal and successfully spearheaded the geothermal division, significantly increasing revenues. In 2014, Dan founded Element Energy Consulting, demonstrating their passion for action and desire to make a difference. Additionally, they served as President of the Geothermal Alliance of Illinois.

Dan Couillard received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Technology, General from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Dan also holds additional certifications such as a Professional Engineer license from the State of Illinois, State of Minnesota, and State of North Carolina, a Private Pilot License - Single Engine VFR from the Federal Aviation Administration, a Certified Geothermal Designer certification from the Association of Energy Engineers, and a Real Estate Broker license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
