Elaine Crockett

Elaine Crockett is a Senior Data Scientist at Green Energy Options since September 2017, focusing on extracting insights from home energy data and developing prediction algorithms for smart battery storage solutions. Previously, Elaine served as a Housing Energy Data Analyst at BRE from February 2012 to August 2017, contributing to software development and data analysis for the construction and safety sectors. During a secondment from August 2015 to June 2016, Elaine worked as a Government Advisor for the Department of Energy and Climate Change, managing workstreams related to the Smart Meter rollout and compliance. Additionally, Elaine assisted in elections at Wokingham Borough Council in 2011. Educationally, Elaine holds a PhD in Astronomy from Queen's University Belfast, a research year in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics, and an MPhys in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Southampton.
