Joseph Rees has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joseph started their career as a Software Technician and Inventory Manager at Software Publishing Corporation in 1990. In 1991, they worked as a National Account Engineer at NetLine Inc. and then moved on to ICS Computers as a Computer Network Technician. From 1994 to 1995, they served as a Network/Systems Analyst at AIRTOUCH COMMUNICATIONS INC and as a Network Engineer/Software Support Technician at Research Institute of America. In 1998, Joseph became the CIO/CTO at iFreedom Direct Corporation, where they managed the Information Technology infrastructure and team of a national financial corporation. Joseph continued to work there until 2007. From 2007 to 2012, Joseph worked as a Global IT Administrator at MediConnect, responsible for implementing and administering the Information Technology infrastructure for a multinational corporation. In 2012, they joined Verisk Health as a Senior Systems Engineer and then subsequently moved to Weave Communications in 2014, also as a Senior Systems Engineer. Overall, Joseph has gained extensive experience in various roles related to IT infrastructure management, network support, and software development, and has been involved in training and mentoring staff members.

Joseph Rees started their education in 1991 at Brigham Young University, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. Joseph attended the university until 1996. Following this, they joined the University of Utah and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering between 1996 and 2000.
