Liming Y.

Liming Y. is an accomplished Senior Research Scientist at Ghent University since January 2008, specializing in integrated modeling of food security under climate change, remote sensing of agricultural crops, and adaptation strategies. Liming Y. holds a Ph.D. in Earth Science from Ghent University and a Master's in Applied Computer Science from the Free University of Brussels. Contributions to the scientific community include serving as a Scientific Advisor for Belgian-Chinese cooperation and analyzing the interactions between bioenergy and food security. Prior experience includes project leadership at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and roles in software engineering and geo-database analysis. Liming Y. has been a member of the Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences since June 2016.
