Uri Kerstein has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Uri has worked as the Head of Sales - Emerging Technologies at GigaSpaces Technologies, where they led sales efforts in Israel and part of Europe. Prior to that, they co-founded Simplify IT and served as a Sales and Business Development Consultant, providing consulting services to startups in the SaaS industry. Uri also worked as the Vice President of Global Sales at NoveSat, a startup in the satellite industry, where they were responsible for worldwide sales activities and building a global sales team. Before that, they were the Head of Sales - Cyber & IT Security Solutions for Financial Enterprises at TeamNetcom LTD, where they had end-to-end regional sales responsibility for complex cyber and IT security products and solutions. Additionally, they served as the VP Sales & Marketing at IDE Technologies, a leading company in water desalination and treatment, overseeing all sales and marketing activities globally. Uri also worked as the VP Sales Europe & Israel at Veraz Networks, where they built up sales in the region and managed sales and pre-sales teams. Lastly, they held various positions at ECI Telecom, including VP Sales & Narrowband Sub-Business Unit Manager, where they established a business unit with full P&L responsibility.
Uri Kerstein has a diverse education history. In 1993, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven. Later, in 1999, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Bar-Ilan University. Continuing their academic pursuits, they obtained a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) certification in IT Security & Cyber from See-Security in 2016. Additionally, Uri further enhanced their knowledge and skills by completing the Advanced Management Program (AMP) in Business Administration, Management, and Strategy from Harvard Business School in 2010.
