Raquel (Guera) Hall is a Senior Research Associate at Gilead Sciences, with prior experience as a Cell Engineering Specialist at Synthego Corporation. Raquel served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Jose State University, where instruction included principles of biology and ecology laboratory sections, as well as genetics seminars. Raquel also conducted research as a Graduate Research Assistant under Jennifer Johnston, PhD, focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 efficiency and cell growth assays. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the same laboratory, Raquel contributed to gene therapy research for Hemophilia A, performing various molecular biology techniques. Raquel holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Microbiology and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from San Jose State University, along with an Associate's degree in Biology from Grossmont College.
