Martin Woodward

Martin Woodward is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in developer relations and open source initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President of Developer Relations at GitHub since January 2020, Martin has been instrumental in building a large team focused on advocacy and developer programs, while previously establishing GitHub's formal DevRel presence. Prior roles at Microsoft included Principal Group Program Manager for Azure DevOps, where Martin fostered external community engagement, and significant contributions to Microsoft's open source strategy. Martin's early career includes key roles at Teamprise and British Airways, complemented by a BSc Hons in Physics from Durham University.
